Sifta: Digital Post-it Notes for Website Projects
Sifta is a Chrome extension developed by getsifta that offers a convenient way to manage communication between stakeholders and developers during the process of building or modifying websites or web apps. With Sifta, users can drop digital post-it notes directly on the specific elements they want to be changed or worked on. Creating a task is as simple as hovering and clicking on the desired area. Users can add details, include a screenshot, and even draw on the screenshot to provide clear instructions.
One of the standout features of Sifta is its seamless integration with popular project management apps such as Jira, Trello, and Asana. When a task is created in Sifta, it is automatically synced with the chosen project management tool, allowing for efficient collaboration and organization.
Sifta also offers a virtual layer on top of the website or web app, where all the notes appear. This allows the entire team to have visibility on what is being worked on, who is responsible for each task, and the current status. It's worth noting that for customer-facing websites, the Sifta extension remains invisible to users without the Browser Extension.
Sifta is available for free for up to 2 users, making it an accessible and practical solution for small teams or individuals working on website projects.
